In honor of Saint Patrick's Day, we want to spread awareness of preparedness and readiness for emergencies. The "It's Not Luck" campaign is utilized throughout March to bring attention to being prepared for a crisis when one may occur. When it comes to unpredictable circumstances, relying on luck is not the answer. The chances of a solution for an emergency will be much higher if preparation is involved. Here at Apartment Guardian that has become the standard, we strive to meet.

Start with these simple buckets as a checklist:

"It's Not Luck" emphasizes the importance of knowing your risk for the area where you live and work. Whether you are often at home, in your workplace, in your vehicle, or other places of common occurrence, it's essential to know the risks in each location. This can include whether the building has an alarm or alert system, exit areas in case of emergency, and overall knowledge of the premises and type of space you are going to. 

When referring to the risks of each location, the It's Not Luck movement also helps us strategize to make a plan to lessen the impact of those risks. Not even the most intelligent person in the world can predict when an emergency is about to strike; having a plan in each possible scenario is the only way to guarantee safety for you and possibly others.
